Restricting multicast traffic on a switch

Hello.  Looking for help with the multicast traffic on the 5520.  There are two applications set up with the Microsoft Network Load Balancing using multicast mode in one VLAN.  When they communicate, they use multicast causing all ports on the switch to be flooded with the multicast traffic affecting other services in that VLAN.

Need to find a way to restrict this multicast traffic in that VLAN.   Thank you!

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the document.  I consulted it and it looks like, since we are running the 5520 in the L2 mode, we need to enable IGMP snooping and IGMP proxy to eliminate the flooding.
