Hi,
Just compiling a list of possible VLAN ID and I-SID reservations to be aware of.
Reserved VLAN ID’s
If enable both vrf-scale flag and the spbmconfigmode flag, the switch reduces the number of configurable VLANs.
By default, VLAN IDs 1 to 4059 are configurable and the system reserves VLAN IDs 4060 to 4094 for internal use.
On switches that support the vrf-scaling and spbm-config-mode boot configuration flags, if you enable these flags, the system also reserves VLAN IDs 3500 to 3998.
4051 - 4052 Typically allocated to B-VLANs
4048 - Onboarding VLAN
Reserved I-SID’s
24-bit I-SID can take vales between 1 and 16777215
16777001 is used and membership of the Fabric Area Network is announced in TLV 147
Multicast stream is allocated a dedicated I-SID from 16,000,001 to16,600,000
Is there anymore that I am missing?
Many thanks,
Martin

There is one more minor thing to add: when using Switched UNI, nearly the full range (1-4094) of VLAN-ID can be used, as this functionality does not rely on a platform VLAN.
Example:
int g 1/7
flex-uni enable
i-sid 333
c-vid 4094 port 1/7
show i-sid

Hi Ludovico,
thanks for sharing. Can you explain where are VSP 7400,4900 and Universal5420,5520 placed?
