integrate C5210 wireless controllers with billing system

Hi All,

One of customer wants to integrate our wireless controller with their billing system, they raised the following quarries…

· RADIUS AVPs list supported/required by Extreme Wireless Controller for communication with Authentication Server(Billing Solution).

· Sample File Dumps/PCAPs of RADIUS request/response while integrating with other Billing Solution. (For their internal reference)

· Extreme Wireless Controller integration document with any third party billing solution if possible.

Please note they have around 1500 APs and dual C5210 controllers

Integrating the C5210 with a billing system should be possible using a RADIUS server for authentication and accounting. The release notes and user guide provide the supported RADIUS attributes, which are usually enough to connect with most third-party billing platforms. Capturing a test RADIUS exchange with a packet capture can also help verify that the integration is working correctly.

Good discussion. Whether it's ISP billing or utility billing, having accurate account and usage information available online makes management much easier for both providers and customers.
