Is it possible to monitor these models of Access Points using SNMP?

Hi, I’m trying to monitor every device I have (switches, firewalls, machines, etc...) All of them were really easy to set a SNMP and start seeing some information.

When I began to add the access points to the monitoring tool, I couldn’t get the SNMP monitoring information. I tried to create a SNMP user but did no good.

These are the models:

  • Wireless AP3705i Internal
  • Wireless AP3935i-ROW Internal
  • Wireless AP3825i-1 Internal
  • Wireless AP3805i Internal

Didn’t found any subject or forum saying anything about it. I hope you can help me

Hi Pedro

These AP’s are managed via the controller, they don’t directly support SNMP themselves.

Hi Gareth

Thanks for your answer! So is it possible to monitor the controller and get information about the Access Points?

Hi Pedro

Yes this is possible, the controller supports snmpv1-snmpv3.

These articles in our KB should help.
