We have a solution in place using two different wireless controller environments across our enterprise. When the NAC sends the MAC address to our radius for 802.1x authentication it is sending it in xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx format while the other solution is sending it in xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx format. Is there a way to adjust the configuration on the NAC to send the colon style format?
For those curious peeps.. We use the MAC as a third level of authentication to minimize the end users ability to use their credentials and add a non company device to our wireless infrastructure. 🙂

Sorry for the delay on this, are you using the IdentiFi Controller? If so NAC will typically proxy the request. The controller can change the format used in the request that's set to the RADIUS server. Check out the following article.
