Hola, tengo un proyecto donde se propone tener una CWE en un sitio fijo y tener el control de alrededor de 10 AP en oficinas remotas sin la utilización de hardware VPN, el enlace entre CWE y AP es a través de Internet, es posible esta configuración sin la utilización de VPN?.

But... You are going to have to configure your L2 interfaces. Setup an interface with a public IP and allow the appropriate ports to be open. Use the static config option in the AP config to point the AP to the public IP address of the controller. Assuming everything is setup right, the AP will establish it's secure tunnel. It's quite easy to do, however, I am not 100% sure it is the recommended way. Currently, I tunnel everything through an ASA IPSEC tunnel for remote APs.

If the guide doesn't make sense, maybe contact Extreme for professional services or pay a contractor to help out. Setting up an entire wireless controller would be tricky communicating through the hub.
