I'm using IdentiFi Wireless in my school district, how do I solve these problems:
- Chromecast is not streaming over wireless
- Chromecast utility is not able to locate the Chromecast device
- Chromecast is not streaming over wireless

Will this have any affect on any other wireless devices or will this only matter to the chromecast. I'm in the same situation and just want to make sure this won't mess up our laptops.

This can be caused by the UPNP Multicast group used by Chromecast not being permitted by default.
Resolution
Enable multicast group 239.255.255.250 on the wireless controller from the Web GUI with the following process:
Click Controller > Network > Topologies
Click the Topology Chromecast is connected to
Click Multicast filters tab
Click Multicast Bridging check box
Click IP group Radio button and add 239.255.255.250/32
Click Save
