Hi Guys,
I got a little confused regarding the times when setting up fast failover and AP poll timeout.
from Wireless Lab Guide: fast failover 2 seconds and poll timeout to 3 or 4 seconds
from GTAC Knowledge: fast failover 10 seconds and poll timeout to 15 seconds
What are the recommended values?
Does it matter where the APs are located - in our case the controller is in Europe and the APs are in China??
Regards,
Stephan

I would go with the 10/15 rule if you don't have voice traffic. Are you configuring the solution for B@ap?

The manual suggest...To achieve ideal availability behavior, you must set the Poll Timeout value for all APs to 15 seconds, and the Detect link failure on the IdentiFi Wireless Appliance > Availability screen to 10 seconds. You can cut that in half for voice.
