How many Guest Portals / Internal Captive Portals

Hi,

Currently running a pair of V2110 virtual controllers in high availability on code 10.31.04.009, and struggling to find some clarity on how many, and what combination you can run a Guest Portal & Internal captive portal.

I remember in the past you could only run one Guest Portal, not sure if that's changed? Also, in addition how many Internal Captive portals I can run on the same controller at the same time or separately from Guest Portal.

The only statement I can find is the following:

"You must configure a Guest Portal before Guest Portal appears as a Captive Portal option. Only one WLANS on a VNS can be configured for Guest Portal."

Which I think is telling me I can still only run one Guest Portal, but can't find anything on Internal captive portal which I'm hoping means I can run one per VNS?

If anyone can clarify the detail, that would be really appreciated.

Hello Martin,

Correct, you can only configure one Guest Portal, as that uses the controller guest user database. You can configure multiple Internal Captive Portals and multiple Guest Splash Portals.
