IdentiFi external Captive Portal Redirection by using more than one NAC Engine

Hello community,

I successfully implemented an external Captive Portal on NAC with using IdentiFI Controller. Since the customer is using two NAC engines for redundancy I wondered what is the best practice doing the redirection to the captive portal while running more than one NAC engine. In the configuration I can only set one redirection URL as seen in the screenshot.

Perhaps someone is running this exact scenario and wants to share their experience.

Yannick

Hello Yannick,

if you are using a dns name in the URL you can create two dns records with the same name for the two ip addresses. It’s the easiest way for a loadbalancing and redundancy.
