XR600P power options

I have an XR600P that is missing it's original power supply, and cannot find a replacement part anywhere on the web.

I have found by experimentation that the XR600P can be powered up if its Eth4 is connected to a Fastpath SR2208 switch (the port then has to be configured to support Power but not Data otherwise Bad Things Happen).  This appears to work (in the lab)

Is this a supported implementation, and is it possible to power up the XR600P off an EXOS X440-G2-48p (16535) ?  

Alternatively, from where can I buy replacement power supplies that have the correct plug for the XR600P?

You should be fine to power the XR600 off of the SR2208 or the X440-G2-48p, whichever works better for you. As for purchasing a new power supply, your local Sales Engineer can help you with that.
