Hello community,
I have a generic question about DTIM settings.
As far as I know the DTIM is starts only when we have at least one power save client.
In standalone deployment it's very clear.
But in case of vc deployment with several adopted aps DTIM is switched on per AP or per RF domain?
Thanks,
Aviv K

Wing on the VC or Wing on the controller is the same, or indeed wing on a single ap If it runs wing 5 then you can set DTIM values per ssid VC is virtual controller eg a ap can adopt up to a max of 64 A VX is a virtual appliance that can have up to 25.000 aps adopted In both cases DTIM values can be set per SSID and the default is 2

Hello Andrew,
Thank you for your reply.
This info is very useful, but my question is about the VC deployment.
Thanks,
Aviv

Dtim can be set per ssid, the default is 2, good for voice. For mobile device NON voice this can be increased to 10 ( This used to be the default in wing 4 )
