WiNG 7.3.x+ heterogenous VC capabilities

Hi,

In the System Reference Guide for WiNG 7.3.0 I read:

"The WiNG 7.1.X AP505, AP510 and AP560 model access points can be deployed as virtual controllers. However, heterogeneous adoption is not supported."

I’d like to ask what do we know about potential close-future changes in 5xx behavior (heterogenous adoption?), and 4xx/3xx behavior (VC at all? heterogenous?).

The latest version I was playing with so far was 7.3.0.

Really interesting kind of issue but I bet it’s just a matter of few weeks to get patch/minor/major update. 😉

  Does issue WING-42852 mentioned in release notes basically means, that this release is for Hyper-V only?

Did you apparently checked it?
