Symptoms
Access Point (AP) reboots.
Controller log reports a Critical message: "AccessPoint Rebooting due to: AP auto recovery event 0002".
Cause
This is due to excessive RF interference on the 2.4Ghz radio (Radio 2).
To resolve this condition, the AP reboots and generates the message, notifying the administrator of the issue - versus leaving the AP in a stalled condition where WLAN clients can no longer pass 2.4Ghz traffic.
Solution/Workaround
Perform a survey to locate the source of the interference, or modify the AP's channel selection until a stable channel is found.
