S-Series products support some combination of SFP ports and SFP+ ports (

All of the S-Series SFP ports support "MGBIC-xxxx" Mini-GBIC transceivers, to operate at 1Gb/s (
9852).
All of the S-Series SFP+ ports support both "10GB-xx-SFPP" transceivers, to operate at 10Gb/s; and "MGBIC-xxxx" Mini-GBIC transceivers, to operate at 1Gb/s (
9852). This dual-speed capability provides cost-effective migration to 10-gigabit.
