Hi there,
I have an rfs6000 controller that runs withAP7161 and AP7562 APs, I want to do a hardware upgrade to AP460e-WR while keeping the same controller RFS6000 and do a firmware upgrade from WinG5.8 to WinG7.3.0 (required firmware for AP460e-WR).
- Is that firmware upgrade possible on rfs6000?
- if yes, would AP7161 and AP7562 still adopt to rfs6000 with this new firmware and work normally (in mesh) with AP460e ?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Please review the release notes here: https://www.extremenetworks.com/support/documentation/extremewireless-wing-software-7-3-0/ you can pick different versions from that dropdown menu on the right.
RFS 6000 is EoL for a long time. As far as I remember 5.9.1 was the last release that is available for it. Unfortunately, that means RFS 6000 can’t be a controller for AP460e.
Hope that helps,
Tomasz
