Hello everyone! Happy New Year and welcome to 2014!

It has been an amazing time to be at Extreme Networks. Never before have two companies joined forces so quickly and easily to provide our customers with industry-leading products and services. We are very proud of how we have worked collectively to bring an amazing experience to you, our customers. However, along the way we have had to incorporate a TREMENDOUS amount of content from both companies into The HUB which has rendered the "Recent Conversations" area less than useful (although I would suggest taking a look at some of these topics for some great conversation starters!) I would like to take a moment to help you during this migration period.

First, have you clicked the "View All" link on our Categories? By doing this, you can actually look at recent conversations in all of our categories instead of seeing all of the FAQ content that is coming in right now. From here, you can also subscribe to your category of interest so as new topics get posted, you will be emailed a notification.

Second, did you know you could look at just ideas, problems, or praise? By clicking the icon of choice above recent conversations, you can see just those topics.

Third, did you know the "Ethernation User" is actually topics and conversations that occurred on the old Extreme Networks forum, Ethernation? Those conversations could be a wealth of information for you, and we hope to have those forum members here in The HUB very shortly.

Finally, if you are new to our community, please visit this thread and introduce yourself! Talk a little about the products you use, and ask some questions. This is a great way to build up the Recent Conversations and push the FAQ content out a bit.

I want to thank each of you for being patient, attentive, and so very helpful during this transition time for our company. Your continued guidance, suggestions, and comments help this community be the great resource it is. If you have additional suggestions for how to help new users navigate our community, please feel free to share in the comments!

All the best and Happy New Year to you all!

Is anyone else concerned by this? Please let us know!

That is the nicest thing James and thank you so much! We have had an amazing challenge integrating two companies so quickly and I certainly want our community to feel inclusive and welcoming. It is members like you that continue to contribute and make our community a great resource. I am not sure how the Welcome thread archives/closed, but I opened it back up. Thanks again and cheers!

Hi Tamara,

I think you've been doing an excellent job in making this a welcoming and friendly community, while still being very useful, thank you for your efforts!

I will note that the introduction thread seems to have become archived and closed somehow, which makes it a bit hard to comment there.
