Hello Everyone,
I am trying to register for an Extreme Networks learning account so I can access training and start learning Extreme Networks technologies.
Over the past few days, I have created two separate accounts using different email providers (Gmail and Outlook/Hotmail). The registration appears to complete successfully, but I never receive the account verification email or password reset email. I have checked my spam/junk folders and waited several days, but no emails have arrived.
I have also tried using different browsers, devices, and even a VPN, but the issue remains the same.
Has anyone else experienced this problem recently? Is there a known issue with account activation emails, or is there a support team that can assist with activating my account?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi,
to set up an account for the Extreme Academy, you must use a company email address (business domain). Personal email addresses like Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook are generally not permitted or recognized for accessing corporate training portals.

I tested registration using a business email as well, but I am still waiting for the initial email required to set up my password. This suggests there may be an issue with the portal itself.
Many technology vendors provide free training and learning resources so that professionals can gain knowledge of their products, recommend them to employers, and potentially implement them in production environments in the future. Requiring a business email instead of allowing personal emails simply for learning purposes seems unnecessarily restrictive.
For example, I learned Fortinet technologies through their free training platform using my personal email address. As a result, I later recommended Fortinet firewalls in a previous organisation. It was a win-win situation for both me and the vendor.
Extreme Networks could benefit from adopting a more open approach to learning and certification, making it easier for individuals to explore and become advocates of their technologies.
