I want to talk about aquariums because I want to buy one for my office. I work in an IT company and I like the idea of an aquarium for relaxing the eyes. Is it easy to maintain? What suggestions do you have on that?

Fish tanks are just like having a dog or cat, minus the emotional care.
Fish need to be fed and their environment needs constant attention. Depending on the size of the tank and the type of plantation, fixtures and fish you have in the tank you need to budget for 30min-to-60min a week in tank cleaning.
Keeping a fish tank needs to be more of hobby IMHO. But they can offer relaxation benefits.
the CONs of owning a tank.

the CONs of owning a tank.
- Cheap filters, water and air fixtures appliances can be noisy. But even the expensive one still make a humming sound.
- Cleaning the filter, syphoning and scrubbing the tank and fixtures takes time and effort.
- Cleaning the tank always makes a mess. No matter how hard you try......water gets everywhere.
- A neglected tank looks like crap and your fish will die.
- A neglected tank smells even worse.
- Will someone care for it on weekends and Holidays?
