We have some great management tools that will pull warranty information into the database based on vendors that provide an API to grab it from (Cisco, HP, Dell, etc., usually via SN or Service Tag). As far as I know, Extreme does not do this. Are there any plans to expose this functionality? These tools are great, but only as far as they can get at the data. 90% of our installs are Extreme, but currently we’re only getting that info for Cisco. They’ve gone so far as to even publish the latest software versions so we can tell daily which devices are behind on updates all from with the tool (Auvik). If it’s not on the roadmap, may I suggest it? Anyone else have an interest in pulling this sort of detail into their RMM or similar platform?
