    Summary:

    An issue has been identified in VOSS 8.4.0.0 and 8.4.1.0 where a system crash will occur when running the following show commands on leaf nodes in a Distributed Virtual Routing (DVR) network environment.  These commands are typically used for troubleshooting and are also included in “show fulltech”:

    • show dvr backbone members
    • show dvr host-entries
    • show dvr database
    • show dvr backbone-entries

     

    Products Affected:

    All VSP platforms except VSP 8600

     

    Software Affected:

    VOSS 8.4.0.0

    VOSS 8.4.1.0

     

    Workaround:

    If you are using Distributed Virtual Routing (DvR) in your network, we recommend using VOSS release version 8.2.8.0 until a code fix is released.
