Summary
Fabric Engine or VOSS switches running GA version 9.0.2.0 or higher and onboarded to ExtremeCloud IQ cannot be downgraded to Fabric Engine version 9.0.0.0.
Background
Fabric Engine or VOSS switches onboarded to ExtremeCloud IQ and running GA version 9.0.2.0 or higher will reset and remain on the same version when the downgrade to 9.0.0.0 is initiated. There is a procedure to follow to roll back to GA version 9.0.0.0 if the user is connected to ExtremeCloud IQ. This does not apply to Fabric Engine or VOSS switches onboarded via ExtremeCloud IQ - Site Engine.
Impact
Attempting to downgrade to Fabric Engine or VOSS version 9.0.0.0 from version 9.0.2.0 or higher and when onboarded to ExtremeCloud IQ will cause the switch to reset and stay on the current version.

Symptoms
Fabric Engine and VOSS switches reset and stay on 9.0.2.0 or higher when onboarded to ExtremeCloud IQ and cannot be downgraded to Fabric Engine or VOSS 9.0.0.0.
Solution
Use the procedure found in the main Field Notice article below to roll back to GA version 9.0.0.0 if the user is connected to ExtremeCloud IQ
