Hello, if you get a message stating that the APs are registered with a different HiveManager, please email the serial number(s) to me at communityhelp@aerohive.com, and I will get those freed up for you.

Try resetting the AP to factory settings. AP documentation is located at docs.aerohive.com

If it still doesn't come up in your Hivemanager after factory resetting, SSH to the AP. The default username and password is admin / aerohive. Issue these commands (replace 1.1.1.1 with your Hivemanager IP address). Replace vhm-home home with your Hivemanager vhm name.

no capwap client enable

capwap client server name 1.1.1.1

capwap client vhm-name home

capwap client enable

save config

You can check the status of capwap communication with

show capwap client
