Hello!
I am trying to put together a "cheap/fast" network for a friend of mine.
unfortunately I am unable to access the local webgui of this switch as all I get is 503 service unavailable error.
according to IQ cloud it appears to be running the latest firmware but as its legacy very few settings can be adjusted via the cloud.
Due to its age I'm not sure much can be done about it.

Hi Christopher,
Yes I can do both.

The 503 is a purely Web related error so I'm not sure if this indicates that something is wrong with the switch or not but I would recommend you start by clearing you browser cache for starters.
Here's the link to whatever guides exist for this switch: https://supportdocs.extremenetworks.com/support/documentation/sr2148p/
You may need to polish your CLI skills and configure it via SSH.

thanks, it seems that this might have also been firmware related as there is several posts about it in the past. I was hoping to have the GUI working for my mate who isn't keen on tackling the console, but you are right it might force him to learn to at least how to tag vlan per port and enable/disable ports.
