Trying to mitigate problems here. I would really like to disable the AX feature on these APs. Is there any way to do so?

You can run the cli “show int w1 | in phy” to check the Phymode to confirm if 11ax is disabled. If not, then the configuration has not been done correctly.
If you are modifying the radio profile in device template, make sure the setting is not overwritten at the device interface setting level.
If you still see the issue, I would suggest you raise a support case.

Fantastic answer, and I really appreciate your time and the CLI command. Those are such gold.

Thanks, Paul. I appreciate it. I went to that link, and I actually had already done that. However, in the Extreme IQ Monitor section, I still see a fairly high number (120 devices or so) connecting at AX rates. Any idea why the difference? And all our Intel based chromebooks are having issues with connections. I remember last year that being a real issue with AX. I solved it, but then we lost the config. So… I am still missing somehting.
Atheros devices connect and run lickety split fine. Only the intel ones give me trouble.

To disable 11ax on AP630, you can select g/n for Supported Radio Modes in the radio profile for wifi0, and select ac for wifi1. See the page below for the details.
