We have several switches in each comm rooms. A master and several slaves in each room.
Access points are plugged into the masters, but they only show up on switches in different comms rooms. The settings on the switches don't seem far off from default.
My problem is I am trying to track down which WAP's coorospond to which rooms so I can tag them in hivemanager. The problem is, I can't follow them from the physical switch number because they are on entirely different switches than they are plugged into.
The closest thing I can think is switch stacking but it doesn't seem like they are configured this way as templates are on default names.
Can anyone shed some light on this?

The best thing to do would be to keep an eye out for the release notes for the next firmware upgrades for the 2200 and 2300 series switches, to see when the issue is reported as fixed. You could also open a technical support case to request updates on when the issue is resolved.

sr2324p and sr2224p. LLDP is turned on all switches and AP so I assume this is my issue. What next?

What switch model(s) are you using currently? There is a known issue with the fastpath switches (2200 & 2300 series) that causes false client reporting, which it sounds like you might be running in to.
