DHCP Server unreachable

DHCP Server unreachable

Hi,

I've got a problem yesterday with DHCP-Server running on an AP deliverling IP-Addresses for a Guest-VLAN.

Meanwhile, I've updated all APs and the on Premise HM to the latest version.

Unfort. I'm not able to fix the problem .

  • I've allready checked the network (AP and Switch) configuration twice, configured a new DHCP Server.
  • I'm not able to ping the DHCP Server on the AP, which is running on mgt0.3.

Does anyone have any advice before I have to open a ticket.

Thanx in advance

Rainer

Hi Sam,

the vlan in doubt is #203

CLI:

int mgt0 dhcp-probe vlan-range 203

dhcp-probe VLAN [0 - 0] starting...

Nothing more from the CLI.

I forgot to say, that this is a active and running configuration. It is in production for several weeks, but last week, during my vacation, out of nowhere, the incident occurs ...

What VLAN is the DHCP server hosting? Could you run the following command on an AP that isn't the DHCP server, replacing the #'s with the VLAN ID you are using?

int mgt0 dhcp-probe vlan-range # #
