I have some APs (AP121) under HiveManager Classic (hosted by an IT company) with which I have administrative rights. I’m trying to migrate this APs under ExtremeCloudIQ Connect (I created an account and added some other APs). Unfortunately I am having problems:
- I removed only one AP (for a test) from Hivemanager
- I tried to add that AP serial in ExtremeCloud but I got the error “12112082101148 The device appears to be in use by another VIQ”
- I tried to bring back that devide in Hivemanager as Unmanaged Device but I get the error “The object cannot be created because the MAC address "4018B11C1EC0" has already been used.”… so I cant’t even get back the Ap in hivemanager.
Which is the right procedure to switch that APs from Hivemanager to ExtremeCloud, and, since initially it’s for testing purpose, possibly to get back?
PS: I tried to manually add the AP to ExtremCloud and seems to keep the settings, but I can’t see it in the ExtremeCloud. After an hard reset the AP come back to the old configuration. I paste the capwap output.
