Hello, unfortunately it's not possible to change the attribute of a user profile after the user profile object has been created. I would recommend cloning the user profile you have in use and setting a new attribute before saving. You can do this by going to Configuration> Expand the left hand side menu if it isn't already visible> Go to User Profiles on the left hand side menu> Check the box next to the user profile in use currently> Click Clone at the top of this page.
