hi. Been using 2 access points for 2 years now, two days ago I managed to brick one when trying to upgrd to a new version. Is there any way I can get anyone to help granted these have no support contract ? (been using them @ home off) SN: 0230141013

Sorry about that, can you try the link again for me? Also I've emailed you directly so we can set up a call time.

hi Sam,

first of all thanks for your response !

That link you sent above doesn't seem to be working for me but I do have a working tftp server on the same network as the access point. Yes can interrupt the boot process and can get to get to the prompt.

I'm on PDT timezone and can do this with 15 minutes of heads up.

thanks !

Are you able to interrupt the boot cycle? There should be a prompt that says hit any key to interrupt the boot cycle. If you are able to do this, you'll want to attempt a TFTP flash, which this guide covers: https://thehivecommunity.aerohive.com/s/article/How-to-Flash-HiveOS-through-the-Device-Bootloader

The only part you'd need help with is entering the bootloader password, that has to be entered by an Aerohive technician. If you can get the FTP server set up on your network per the instructions in that guide, then we can set up a time for me to enter that bootloader password for you.
