You would reach HiveManager Classic by going to myhive.aerohive.com, and HiveManager (formerly NG) can be reached at cloud.aerohive.com. These are separate platforms, so credentials for one will not work on the other, and they don't share a device inventory. If you can send me the serial numbers of the devices you want to move to Connect from HiveManager, I can see about freeing up those devices for you. My direct email is communityhelp@aerohive.com.

I'm in a simular situation have a hivemanager NG trial account that has expired and want to be on connect, can access through https://myhive.aerohive.com/ but there is no option to remove devices? https://cloud.aerohive.com/login does not seem to work with the same email and password as logging into myhive. Any suggestions?

If you still have access to the old HiveManager, you'll need to remove the devices from the device inventory. If you do not have access to the HiveManager any more, and you've purchased support, you'll want to open a technical support case to request these devices be removed from the redirector. If you have not purchased support and you don't have access to the HiveManager, please email me the serial numbers in question at communityhelp@aerohive.com, and I'll see what our options are.
