How can I troubleshoot AP's having a high CPU? I see the command "show cpu detail" and "show system proc state" The cpu detail shows 100% for the cpus and the proc state shows me some cryptic looking services.

What should I be looking for? Is it normal for the CPU to spike to 100? I see others with the same question but there does not seem to be an answer for how to troubleshoot it.

What steps can I take to troubleshoot the CPU being 100?

Are we using QoS? no

Do you have bandsteering enabled in the Radio profile? no

Are you using WIPS? no

What services are you seeing? If it's MDNSM, could you reboot the AP and see if the CPU spikes right away or takes some time to get back up to 100%? Other things to check for CPU spikes:

Are you using WIPS?
