To expand upon BJs answer somewhat, most every new AP Aerohive has put out doesn't have the option to dim the light. They are simply on or off. The older 802.11n APs (AP121/330) had brightness settings. And even older .11n APs had multiple colors (AP320)

The command is:

System led brightness

You can type a a question mark at the end for the different options.
