I want to monitor traffic on my network so that I can find out if users are visiting inappropriate sites. I have no idea how to begin configuring the components of my network to record the URLs being visited and devices that are visiting them. Anyone have a brief overview of what I would need to do to accomplish this or can point me to helpful documentation?
We have reports, but they mostly focus on applications in use rather than URLs visited. We don't capture a lot of this kind of data, you'd probably do better with a content filter to see this level of information on your user connections.
