I have a 6 months old AP. It has been mounted in the ceiling with a network cable plugged in the whole time. the connector pins are corroded on the AP. Should I purchase a new AP?

If it's still working and not impacting your cables, maybe switch that AP with another AP and see if 1) the issue happens with the new AP and 2) see if the issue continues to get worse in a new area for the first AP?

Not sure if it's related, but in extreme temperature and moisture environments, we deploy AP1130s. The entire AP and connectors are sealed.

Thanks for the response. That's kind of what I figured, but in the rafters there's no contact with water or any other corroding agents besides air. I really have no guess as to why this one did this. Other AP's along the same corridor did not have this issue. Obviously I'm concerned about buying a new one for the spot and the same thing happening. I'm not even sure how to defend against a repeat scenario.

Might want to find the problem first, if it's environmental it'll just happen to the next AP. Also not sure if that would count as physical damage, pretty sure they don't replace physical damage via RMA.
