Hello,
I have the same issue - have signed in with 30-day trial Pilot tier, which is expired now.
I was trying to follow Samanthaās suggestion, but when I click āGlobal Settingsā, it opens āDevicesā dashboard and I cannot change my email address.
I have registered using another email with Connect tier, but now I cannot unmanage devices from my expired Pilot account to move it to Connect tier.
Could anyone help with this ?

Unfortunately there is no way to convert a full featured ExtremeCloud IQ instance in to a Connect instance, you will have to re-register for a Connect instance and rebuild from there. To use the same email address you registered with last time, you can go in to the full featured ExtremeCloud IQ instance> Click on the silhouette icon in the top right hand corner> Global Settings> Account Management> Open your user record> Change the email address used by the user record at the top of the page. Then the original email address should be available to register for a new Connect instance with.
