Hi,

Is it a HiveManager bug that I have wireless clients (including iPhones!) connected to a SR2208P switch? Or something in my configuration. I have HiveManager build version  12.8.0.44.

Regards,

Malcolm

Hi Malcolm,

Could you please upgrade the firmware to the latest 1.0.1.26 ?

Each firmware version has an associated HiveAgent application that reports to Hivemanager. I believe this behavior is due to misreporting software.

Happy to assist,

Hi Carsten,

Good suggestion, but I checked and ports for the APs do have their own port type and client reporting is off for those ports. Could it be overridden elsewhere perhaps?

Otherwise I did read of a bug with HiveManager years ago which had the same effect.

Sounds like you have "Client Reporting" enabled on the switch ports where you APs are connected to.

Make sure you have a dedicated port type configured for your AP-Switch-ports, with Client reporting disabled:
