Issue updating firmware on AP370: curl: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection

Issue updating firmware on AP370: curl: Unknown SSL protocol error in connection

I recently added 3 AP370 access points to my network, and have added their serial numbers to my ExtremCloud account.

Two APs are working well, and I've updated their firmware and set their configuration successfully. The third is giving errors trying to update firmware or push configuration. It's currently on firmware 6.5r4.

The log from the device when I'm triggering a firmware update from ExtremeCloud shows:

Similar issues on the forum have been resolved by updating the firmware in steps from the web UI. Are there firmware files available that I can use to try this?

Thanks

I am having the same issue, which I believe is an outdated TLS/SSL protocol. My device is an AP350:

I have been unable to get the hive manager to update the firmware, although it shows on Events in the Hive that the firmware did download. Is there a fix for this?

Thank you,

That's excellent Sam, thanks very much. Using the firmware file you sent I was able to update the access point and so far it now seems to be connecting and updating config correctly in ExtremeCloud.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Matt, thanks for the detailed explanation, I've just sent you the latest firmware file for your model and a guide that reviews how to update via the Web UI of the AP. Please let me know if you have any further trouble updating your device.
