I want to disable standard 802.11a because after a air quality test the result shows that 802.11a from Aerohive is affecting the wireless service

Hi Hector,
The 802.11a defined OFDM rates are mandatory at 5 GHz so you cannot disable these outright.
However, you can prohibit clients that only support 802.11a so that clients must be 802.11n capable.

Nick

Hi Sam, I found that options in Radio Profile but noone of them disable 802.11a at all. In this moment I have configure for radio 2.4GHz a radio profile with radio mode 802.11g/n and that is OK, but for 5GHz the radio mode is 802.11a/n/ac and I can't find an option without standard 802.11a. Thanks.

Hi Hector, sorry for the confusion. You're looking for the Radio Mode, should be at the top of the Radio Profile page without expanding any of the sub-sections. You're options are going to be : 802.11g/n, 802.11b/g, 802.11a, 802.111/n, 802.11g/n, 802.11 a/n/ac. Is this what you are looking for?

Thanks for your answer, I was looking in radio profile but I can´t find the option. I have access point AP230 (HiveOS 8.2r3.199573) with Hive Manager Classic (8.2r2). Thanks.
