I'm trying to set up a custom location server. I have already a "receiver" for TZSP stream, which is working with other hardware brand.
I was happy to see the "Track Client Location Using Tazmen Sniffer protocol" option in Policy, but I can't make it run and can't find any official info neither. Here are the steps I've done
- Activated Presence Analytics in Policy
- Added a TZSP style location server in policy -> additional settings -> Network services -> Location Server, checked all that can be checked
- Updated AP to latest (10.0r7a) & deployed. Now i got nice Monitoring icons in front of each AP in "Manage" menu.
and.. my receiver gets no UDP data, just nothing.
I have also tried to make this with CLI with the following commands
location tzsp enable
location tzsp server-config server [PublicIP] port 37008
location tzsp mcast-mac 01-40-96-00-00-03
with no more success.
Can someone point me a guide/howto, or telling me what is wrong here ?
