Hi All, below is my setting for DCS:

Well then, my questions are as below:

Q1.

I have a WIFI client connect to this AP at 07:00AM.

Assume we having about 70% CRC Errors at the same time.

What is the DCS behavior?

Q2.

I have no client connect to this AP at 07:00AM.

Assume we having about 1% CRC Errors at the same time.

What is the DCS behavior?

Q3.

Many clients connect to this AP at 15:30 PM.

Assume I don't check the box of "Do not switch channels if clients are connected".

What is the DCS behavior? And what is the impact to clients?

Q1- The device won't switch channels until it has 0 clients connected to it, but once it is able it will switch to a different channel with a lower channel cost.

Q2- The AP will still be scanning for a channel with a lower channel cost during the 5-7:30am time frame, but may not switch channels if it doesn't find a better one.

Q3- The AP would have to reach the interference or CRC threshold to change channels, but if it did clients would experience a brief interruption in traffic flow.
