Is this beneficial/recommended when you have several AP's on one location and you want to roam more seamlessly between AP's. Does it have any known issues that might occur if this is enabled, Clients are primarily MAC with some Windows clients.

Does it only affect AP's in a particular network , not all of your AP's in multiple locations. etc like to the nearest L3 boundry or something , so basically it is good when you have clients walking around the office space in a mobile environment

This feature reduces the roaming procedure from a full 802.1x authentication process to only the 4-way handshake when clients move from AP to AP, which reduces the roaming time to about 1/10th of a second. This is beneficial when you have several APs in one area with clients moving frequently between one AP to another. The only downside is that the APs will have to hold logs for clients that may or may not be connected to that particular AP at the time, but these logs overwrite themselves when they get full so it won't cause any issues for the APs themselves, it just might make the buffered log information a bit difficult to sort through if you're looking for one particular log message.
