When we check the Domain User Credentials in the AAA User Directory Settings the follow error message appears:

Unknown error: could not obtain winbind separator! Reading winbind reply failed! (0x01) : 

 

Is it possible to config Aerohive tu use SMBv2 oder later ???

Hi,

 

I would recommend using another AP, anything that can use 8.2x firmware.

SMBv2 was added to HiveOS 8.2r1, I don't know if it is available for the 6.5rX releases.

thx for your answer - we have one ap with 8.2x Firmware  - we changed the authentication to this ap und now all is working.​
