We have just purchased 25 Aerohive AP250 but was only able to onboard 7 on the portal. With the 5 or 6 others that I've so far tried, I keep getting this error "The product type for the device does not exist", which is really strange.

No, this AP is fully booted and servicing clients. It’s brought brand new, never pre-configured., I’m the only one setting them up

Are you certain the AP is booting all the way up and you're being prompted for the CLI username/password? If so, that would indicate prior config on the device possible and pin hole resetting it may resolve this.

If however, you're AP is stopping at the boot-rom prompt, the default creds do not work there.

The username will always be "admin" and the default password will either be "aerohive" or "Aerohive1".

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your help the last time.

I’m having issues puttying or web browsing into the AP250. Do we know what the default username and password for AP250 might be please?
