Our customer is running:
HiveManager Software Version:8.2r2c
APs in the environment include models AP250, AP230, and AP1130
Switches in the local environment include Extreme x460-24p and x460-48p running software version 16.2.2.4 (Patch 1-3)
To the extent of my knowledge the HiveManager is hosted remotely. Here is the body of the email we received:
Important (Updated) - A change of certificate is scheduled on October 21, 2019.
The certificate is required for secure SSL communication between HiveManager and Extreme-Aerohive SR2200- and SR2300-series, and Dell EMC switches. HiveManager automatically updates devices that are connected and managed by HiveManager, but cannot update devices that are disconnected or unmanaged, such as those in stock or storage.
The new certificate is available.
Devices that are connected now can receive the new certificate. Devices that are not connected until after 10/21/2019 will not receive the new certificate and will require manual intervention afterward.

You do not need to change the cert, that will be done automatically for you for devices that are connected to the HiveManager. The only thing you need to do for this change is make sure all of your switches are connected to the HiveManager before 10/21/2019. If you have any surplus stock that aren't in production, you'll want to connect those temporarily too so they get the new cert so you don't run in to problems later when you want to use the surplus switches. This change will only affect SR2200, SR2300, and Dell series switches.
