What is branch ID?

Hi everyone,

I wrote serial numbers of some routers in our redirector and all my

routers listed in "your organization". Now I want to move them to a specific

organization, but I can't move the like APs. Instead of "Move to

organization" I see "branch ID". I'm wondering what is branch id

and what is its function?

Thank you for your patience while we looked in to this for you. This Branch ID setting is only applicable during the initial on-boarding, and is only relevant if we are using a CSV to import a series of devices and we are assigning them to individual subnets. Otherwise you should be able to simply on-board a device and apply a network policy to it via the device specific settings, without using the Branch ID object.
