We aren't defining golden and feature releases by the 6.x or 8.x branches any more. It's a case by case basis these days, mostly due to the newer devices that came out and never had a 6.x branch, but started on the 8.x branch. These devices have feature and golden releases as well, so it's not so easy to tell which is which I'm afraid. That chart should be a good reference though, if you're ever wondering which version we recommend at the time.
