40G QSFP+ connectivity with HPE Synergy 12000 (VC SE 40Gb F8 module)?

Hello,

Anyone here using HPE Synergy 12000 with VC SE 40Gb F8 module hooked into VDX (6740)? Any advise on compatible 40G QSFP+ direct attach cable would be greatly appreciated.

We tried the one from HPE (FlexNetwork X240 40 Gbps QSFP+ to QSFP+ direct attach) without any luck (no signal and incompatibility warnings on the VDX side). 40G-QSFP-C-0101 from Brocade looked more promising with the signal present, and even successful Port-Channel formation, but no data was going through.

Hello ,
please use a passive cable or an active cable from HP
HP does not accept third party manufacturers by GBICS, but a passive cable could work.
