The following field notice has been released to bring awareness to our VDX customers that NOS SW versions starting in NOS 7.2.0e, NOS 7.3.0b, NOS 7.4.0 (and all later patch releases in those code streams) have been modified to change the admin account user ID value as an added security enhancement.
Extreme recommends that when upgrading or downgrading to use the latest patch releases for each major release, in order to not mix NOS versions that include this enhancement with NOS versions that do not include this enhancement.
