Hello, I apologize in advance if this has been asked before but I searched and didn't find this exact issue. Also I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to switches and our networking guy left recently so here I am.
I recently lost one of my two switches that were in VCS mode (I think) due to a power outage, the new one is installed and running (nothing plugged into it yet) so I'm curious how to (or if i need to) load my backup onto the secondary to get it back into a working state before plugging everything back in. The documentation states "Distributed intelligence means that all configuration and destination information is automatically distributed to each member switch in the fabric.", but is that the case for a brand new factory default switch?
Any guidance on this would be much appreciated, thank you!
